Nepal have named former Australian fast bowler Ian Harvey as their men’s bowling consultant ahead of the 2026 T20 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
Harvey will work alongside head coach Stuart Law, strengthening Nepal’s coaching setup as the team prepares for its biggest tournament of the year.
The 53-year-old brings significant international and domestic experience. Renowned for his clever variations and skill with the slower ball, Harvey represented Australia in 73 ODIs, claiming 85 wickets and scoring 715 runs. He was also a member of Australia’s 2003 World Cup–winning squad in South Africa.
Following his retirement, Harvey transitioned into coaching and has previously worked with Gloucestershire.
Nepal begin their T20 World Cup journey on February 8, taking on England at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
